PP&M: Blog entry 11
Started experimenting with pages of books and ink, with varying results. the ink gets a thicker black, covers the text, but only on the pages of the book. The ink on normal a4 paper looks rubbish. can see the text through it, and all of the marks.

This one i was thinking about how a single black page used to signify the death of a character.

Like this design, although could be a lot neater. can see the brush strokes here, but it kind of works (I think anyway). thinking about possibly using water colors to get a similar effect (?)

Incorporating my idea of the use of dead bird imagery (symbol for the soul).

This is what i was talking about, the use of ink on normal printer paper. The designs work but, but the texture of the ink on this kind of paper looks rubbish. I prefer the matt, flat finish of the ink on the other paper.

Started this in pen...this looks better than the inks, but I still think I could get a better result in Photoshop. The blacks just aren't black enough. Can see all of the marks, detracts from the image itself.
